Unfortunately, Dad did not describe the system to me when he asked me to "solve the problem for him". I understand that I should have asked more detailed questions, but both for the shortness of time we had to discuss matters which I only realized after he had died were extremely important, the numbering system for the collection fell through the cracks.
As time passed after Dad's death I was focused on building a system for the materials Dad left me to work with. As time went on the reutilization of the magnitude of the job hit me. I doubled down and began working on Grandfather's astonishing accomplishments while dealing with other issues which, much against my wishes, filled my time.
Life is not always easy, but getting to know, and love, Grandfather, has been a deeply enriching experience. When you read about him you may feel the same.
Thanks for any help you can provide. - Melinda
A. C.’s body of work also includes several
other series including colored post cards, the Legend of the Lost Arrow of L
series, the White Fleet Series, the Stanford Rush Series, a series of movies,
and the Y series of images. These numbers have been recovered by asking people to send me copies of the numbered images, both sides. I then add them to the whole. This takes much time and continued requests to those of us who care about accuracy and about justice.
We know beyond doubt now, what happened to the monumental collection of images and are taking steps to restore it.
